The Ron Diaz Christmas Classic Golf Tournament to Benefit Children’s Cancer Center

Tampa Bay Sports Radio WDAE 620 and radio personality, Ron Diaz, provide a “beautiful day of golf and shenanigans” at the Ron Diaz Christmas Classic Golf Tournament at Saddlebrook Resort.

Proceeds from the tournament benefit Children’s Cancer Society.  According to its website, the National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS) provides emotional, financial and educational support to children with cancer, their families and survivors.  The organization provides these resources for those in need at every stage of illness and recovery.  In the U.S., the NCCS eases financial burdens that accompany major illness, give crucial support and address the challenges of survivorship.  Abroad, they provide lifesaving pharmaceutical drugs and medical supplies to facilities that treat children with cancer.

AnswerFirst sponsored a four man team in this year’s tournament that included Operations Manager, Don Quarterman, and CEO, Matt Herron.  Mr. Herron, said, “AnswerFirst’s annual participation in this event fulfills an important part of our company vision –  a healthy world filled with happy people.  Community events like the Ron Diaz Christmas Classic bring us one step closer to making this part of our vision a reality and we’re grateful to the have the opportunity to participate.”
