AnswerFirst Cares partners with Champions for Children for Holiday Toy Store

It has become a tradition for AnswerFirst Cares volunteers to help set up the Holiday Toy Store for the Champions For Children in Tampa.

Each year Champions for Children opens their doors to mothers, fathers and caretakers who are in need of holiday gift assistance. Champions invite them to “shop” for gifts for their children at no cost. The Holiday Store offers parents and caregivers a wide variety of gifts to choose from for children from birth to 12 years of age. AnswerFirst Cares, the charitable arm of AnswerFirst, has participated in this event for many years and look forward to this being our best year yet!

This year our great volunteers donated both the toys and their time to make sure all the families can pick out the gifts for the children of all ages at the store.

AnswerFirst Cares director of kindness Penny Herron helped parents walk through the “store” and pick out presents for their children. Volunteer Barbara Rau worked the wrapping station putting the finishing touch on the perfect holiday for the little ones.
